PANiQ-ROOM

Fantastic experience! Thrilling and fun with very well crafted props! Definitely one of the most intricately put together rooms. A good balance of mechanical and digital puzzles that all feel uniquely different, offering more variety beyond just the standard number locks and key sequences. Very fun but tough room, and escaping it (with the help of clues from game master Vic) felt very gratifying! Victor was also a very thorough and experienced game master, who took care of us and ensured a smooth escape experience! Highly recommend!

Probably the worst escape room I've ever been to, would not recommend. We did the Senses room with 5 people. The staff seemed like they didn't want to be there, just no enthusiasm at all when we came in and we started quite late even though we showed up early. There were a lot of red herrings and clues that didn't make sense at all. The only way to get clues from staff members is to wave your hand at a camera as they don't give you a radio. We stood there waving on 2 separate occasions for a long while before getting any responses which was frustrating. Spoilers-- It has 3 rooms for this challenge, with one being a pitch black room. There was absolutely no light in one and we fumbled around for a good while trying to find anything. We managed to get through it only by using light from one of our watches. The final clue to get out of the room involves solving a braille puzzle inside a box in the dark room. We ended up not getting it because the dots were too close together and letters got merged. The staff member told us a lot of people get it mixed up and everyone seems to get different letters. If they've been told multiple times then they should probably change it.

Two of us did the "Senses" room and it was great! We are experienced escape room goers and this was the first timer ever we did not complete it within the timer. The game host Bram was very gracious with giving us hints when we asked for them - he guided us very well into figuring out the final steps of some of the puzzles on our own, just giving us little pushes in the right direction if we got lost or confused. The room itself is large and well designed with puzzles that I'd never seen before. It has a good combination of mechanical and "techy" puzzles. Even though we did not complete the room in time, it was very fun. I would recommend this room for more experienced escape room goers due to its complexity. All in all, great fun and can't wait to try the other rooms!

Had a great time at Paniq escape rooms. The staff were very lovely and explained everything thoroughly. Even though we didn’t escape the room, he was nice enough to let us in a little early as we showed up early to our booking and we got an extra few minutes to try to escape (not that it helped). The puzzles were really fun. Highly recommend.

We were running a few minutes late from our bike tour and they were so patient and accommodating. Helen was incredible! She really engaged our kids, and they provided lots of clues to help us progress through. She even gave us 5 extra minutes so the kids could have the full experience. The Wizadry experience was fantastic and very well-designed!

Arrived on a hot, summer day around lunchtime for a team building activity. Colleague asked the member of staff if they had water - they didn’t. Not the end of the world. I ran off to a convenience store to grab bottles for the team, and when I came back, we were told we weren’t allowed to take water into the room. When I questioned it, I was told “that’s our policy”. I said “are you sure?” And was told “yeah, you might damage the equipment with it”. I didn’t press the point as I was with colleagues, but I found that ridiculous. If it was soft drink or alcohol, fine - but on a hot day, you’re going to lock me in a room for over an hour and say I can’t bring in water? If someone uses a drink bottle to damage the room, it’s all on camera, address it appropriately. Staff member was friendly enough but enforcing a dumb policy. Room itself was okay, some puzzles were clever but I didn’t feel it was as narrative driven or polished as some of my other experiences in Sydney.

Unfortunately our visit was not the best. Several of the clues or puzzles, including one major one, were either already solved or not working. The telephone lines to receive clues were problematic and made it incredibly difficult to hear clues. Even after the puzzle ended and our Game master attempted to show us the puzzles she encountered problems and puzzles would not work. Great rooms but if they don’t work properly it’s not a fun experience.
